23 sec

A cut-together montage in which the dog goes onto a decoy several times and, in between, spends long seconds in front of one who does nothing but stand there. Those seconds are the ones worth watching.

Two stretches here matter more than the grips. From 0:11 to 0:13 and again from 0:17 to 0:20 a decoy stands still with a stick held point-down at his side, and the dog stays in front of him, head up and, in the later stretch, mouth open, without going onto him. At 0:21 it jumps at him and by 0:22 it is on his arm. The film is cut from several moments with at least two decoys, and no handler appears, so nothing shows what ended the wait. Ask any seller what sends the dog in, and how it comes out.

Every company in this business posts footage, ours included, and footage is the one thing a seller has complete control over. Watch it, then ask to see something you did not see on camera — here is how to ask.
